The Stoke: Stiffer than its flexy brother this Scarecrow has all the same great features as the flex with a little more beef for bigger riders or those looking for speed who need a little extra stability.
The Grit: Five Mile's concave take a while to adjust to and some riders prefer a lighter concave found on the Lady Liberty or the Black Sheep.
Five Mile's Description:
The Scarecrow Stiff is the Ultimate technical freeride deck. The Scarecrow Stiff utilizes a symmetrical micro drop platform deck designed to give the rider more control during tricks and slides. The deck also features 4 symmetrical gas pedals, double rocker pockets, and the newly engineered Y-CAVE (a y-shaped micro drop that fits perfectly to the center of the outside of your foot). The Scarecrow also features a Tapered Center W that cradles the inside of your foot, matching it perfectly with the Y-Cave for the ultimate “locked in” feel. This feature gives toe side stand up slides a new weapon as you can dig your feet even more into the cradle of the Y-Cave, making it more controllable especially riding switch topsides. That combined with the kick tails and the 28″ wheelbase, The Scarecrow is certain to handle anything you throw her way.
